Perhaps one of the most famous works of street art is iHeart's Nobody Likes Me mural found in Stanley Park, Vancouver. iHeart, who is a Candian artist, prefers an anonymous lifestyle, but is very outspoken when it comes to social issues.
His famous art work is very simple: it depicts a kid crying while he holds a phone in his hand, disappointed because he got zero likes, follows, and comments on instagram. The boy demonstrates the toxic need for validation social media has created in our society.
When talking about his artwork he also mentioned the irony of his plan to promote it, since it involved posting it on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram where it then went viral.
