Writer: Samantha del Olmo FloresSamantha del Olmo Flores

Street art is the name of any urban art expression. This term is frequently related to illegal activities but it's more much than that. Street art is a form of art with more possibilities as almost any material can be used, but the main one is spray paint. Street art is also used frequently as a way of protest. For example, in Mexico, the street art boom was in the '80s to complain about the corrupt government and became part of the identity of the barrios in the city.
